WHO ARE WE? 

We are a Romanian couple based in Bucharest who loves travelling, photography and cinematography. 
What we are doing in our daily lives reflects the topic of the blog as one of us is an airline pilot and the other is a content director/ film maker.  

ANDRADA BURSUC 

Privileged to have turned a lifelong passion for aviation into a profession, I currently fly the Boeing 737 as a Captain. Beyond the flight deck, I have a deep appreciation for travel, maps, nature, photography, and the incredible planet we call home. Fascinated by the connections between people, places, and the environment, I strive to explore, document, and better understand the world from both above and below the clouds.

ION COJOCARU – LUTZ   

Cannes Titanium-winning creative, now a film director shaping stories that don’t feel like advertising.

His career began with an unpaid internship at McCann Bucharest, where he went on to become one of the most awarded creatives in Romania. Lutz has won over 30 Cannes Lions, including the country’s first-ever Titanium Lion, and was named among the Top 10 Art Directors worldwide in the 2012 Cannes Lions Annual Report.

He later joined Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai as Creative Director for Cadillac, where he directed his first branded content series marking the beginning of his transition into film-making.

OUR BLOG 

The purpose of the blog itself is to be a virtual album for us to keep all our memories and, at the same time, to serve as an useful information and inspirational travel platform for people who may want to visit the same places as we did. Additionally, we will post some reviews of the equipment we`re using, in an attempt to help other people in deciding which cameras to use.

WHY IN BETWEEN FLIGHTS ?

Well, because, first of all, in order to reach nice destinations, one will need to take one or more flights. Secondly, because Andrada will always be in between her flights and our flights whenever travelling. So, www.inbetweenflights.com made sense. At least for us. ☺

HOW DO WE TRAVEL? 

First of all, we travel light. Backpack light. Less things, less worries. We try to travel in our spare time as much as possible. We try to take as much time off as possible but sometimes even few days will do.
We organise everything by ourselves using different king of platforms ( such as Sky Scanner, Booking.com, AirBnb, Agoda etc ), individual websites and staff travel. We try to book the plane tickets directly from the airline website, whenever possible, as we think it is much safer than through third parties. Usually, we book everything a few months in advance.
